Other projects consist of mobile wastewater residuals dewatering systems with the use of centrifuge dewatering technology. Disposal of these residuals are into a lined landfill cell to be mixed with household trash for the production of methane gas for electrical energy production. Design and operation of self serve unmanned septic waste receiving stations that are monitored off site by video and SCADA systems. Odor, corrosion and FOG control projects that consist of liquid phase biological neutralization products, gas phase acid scrubbing for mercaptan removal and biological sulfide adsorption units for odor control.
(Past) Lead Wastewater Operator over seeing the operations and staffing of reclaimed and secondary treatment wastewater plants for Pasco County Utilities & the City of Brooksville. Water and Wastewater plant operator for two private utility systems consisting of various sizes of water and wastewater plants
The Hernando County Water and Sewer Board currently operates seven wastewater treatment plants with a total design capacity of over 6,000,000 gallons. Current projects pending design capacity expansion.
Design projects supervised include the following, redesign of 3 wastewater plants with reclaimed water production and nutrient removal. The utilities department has wastewater plants under design for expansion or redesign with the newest technologic advances for energy conservation. The largest being the Hernando Airport Water Reclamation Facility to a future design flow to 6.0-7.25 MGD.
