Jason Brown received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University in 1986. He currently serves as Vice President at mPower Innovations, a GIS Software & Services company specializing in Mapping, System Integration, and Asset and Maintenance Management for Utilities. In his current position, Jason regularly assists water and wastewater utilities assess the quality and potential of their existing maps or GIS to provide a solid platform for an enterprise wide GIS and Asset Management system. His presentations at industry events and conferences help utility managers and operators see the benefits of GIS, remove some of the costs and complexity and provide them with an understandable path forward.
